We are seeking donations of your talents, skills, and passions as auction items for this important fundraiser: experiences, park passes, artistic creations, tours, and more! The silent auction will run September 14–25 and will be entirely digital.

  • Do you have a favorite hobby that you’d love others to experience? Take a fellow member fishing, birding, or hunting.
  • Are you creative? Do you have an artistic talent? Donate a carving or illustration.
  • Are you skilled at whitewater rafting or kayaking? Take a member on the river and show off your neck of the woods.
  • Do you have a cabin or other abode that you’d be willing to share for a night or two?

Due to COVID-19, if you have a physical item, we will ask you to hold onto it and mail it directly to the winner once the auction has closed. We can work with you to limit the bidder to your country, if needed, and/or arrange it so the winner pays shipping.

If you have a experience you’d like to offer, you set the limits on the time frame. For example, a weekend stay at a cabin June 11–13, 2021 or a day birding in spring 2021, exact day to be determined between the winner and host.

Contact Debby Lehman (dlehman@fisheries.org) or Laura Hendee (lhendee@fisheries.org) with your items or ideas! Please describe the item, provide up to five photos and one video, list the fair market value, and suggest a starting bid.

Your donations are tax deductible and important. Funds generated from the silent auction will support AFS’ ongoing programs in areas of student travel awards, scholarships, internships, and policy support and outreach.
